Our main services
When a roof has had its day, patching it stops being worth the money. We strip it back, check and replace timbers where they need it, fit new membrane and battens, and re-cover in tile or slate to suit the house.
New fascias, soffits and guttering at the same time usually makes sense while the scaffold is up, and it works out cheaper than coming back to do it later. If a repair would do instead, we will tell you. Plenty of times it will. There are photos of recent re-roofs on our work page.
PVC fascias, soffits and gutters, fitted properly and left straight. It is the cheapest thing you can do to take ten years off the look of a house, and it stops water getting where it should not.
We fit dry verge and dry ridge systems too, which do away with the mortar that cracks and drops out over time.
A replacement lightweight roof turns a conservatory that is freezing in winter and unusable in summer into a room you actually sit in. Warmer, much quieter in the rain, and it looks like part of the house rather than a bolt-on.
Most go on in a few days, so you are not without the room for long.
